Is there such a thing as even semi-decent Mexican beer? I've had Corona, and like two different types of Dos Equis, and they're TERRIBLE.

Man, I get a kick out of the fact that a baseball team in Korea is named after a brand of beer.

I like Negra Modelo if I'm going to have a Mexican beer. It's not the best beer ever, but it is far from the worst.

the beer i had down in guatemala was pretty good actually. Gallo and Cabro were the best. makes all mexican beer weak piss by comparison.
i actually got to visit their main brewery, guided tour and all with beer and chips at the end. that was majorly cool.
up here in BC, kokanee isnt too bad. for a cheap domestic its pretty good. so far my favourite readily available stuff is stella artois and sleeman's honey brown.
good stuff.
most surprising, is how cheap beer is in alberta! i got a seriously good tasting local beer there for 6$ a sixpack! cheaper than pop!
