This show succeeded in making me very uncomfortable. I really had no strong feelings about its actual quality one way or another, but by the end of the episode I watched I merely felt kind of dirty and I needed to get outside.

This is exactly the same way I felt about Tom Goes to the Mayor, except I think I laughed a few times during TGttM, so I am not sure if this is intentionally what they are going for or not.

This show isn't even worth the time it takes to watch it. Absurdism can be great, but this show aims for the very bottom end of it.

and, somehow, still hits below the mark.

Things on Adult Swim I enjoy:

Aqua Teen
early Sealab
Tom Goes to the Mayor
Tim & Eric (sometimes)

Things I am Equivocal About:

Venture Bros.
Metalocalypse

Things on Adult Swim I hate:

everything else

Seriously, Adult Swim has done more to revitalize adult animated entertainment in this country than anyone since Spumco. They have also done more to KILL IT. Twelve Ounce Mouse? Xavier: Renegade Angel? Moral "hur hur religion sure is dumb!" Oral? ASSY FUCKING MCGEE???

Even with the Venture Bros. (the only thing I like on the channel these days) Adult Swim's best era was the Space Ghost Coast to Coast era. Back when it was mostly character-based comedy instead of "hey! random shit!" comedy. Though those days didn't lack in randomness by any means.

I figured this thread needed more posts that were written as though from an old man.

The best sketch this show has ever done is the one with the automated bank.

"Your wife's legal name is now: Taargüs Taargüs"

Other than that, it wavers between hit-and-miss and overly self-indulgent.
