TJ's is super cheap. And my area doesn't have Whole Foods. *shrugs at California*
You really can't beat two bucks for a dozen organic eggs. A dollar fifty for fresh sourdough. Pre-peeled garlic cloves, vacuumed sealed for freshness for a dollar (quite a few are included, as well). The produce is superb, cheap... and if you want to try something but are unsure about it, it's okay. You can bring back an empty package, claim you didn't like it, and get your money back.
Not to mention flowers. Their flowers are absolutely excellent. Always fresh. Always REALLY cheap, but high quality. At certain times of the year at my TJ's, you can get casa blanca lilies for about $12 for a bunch (4-5 stems). If you've ever worked at a florist, you know that's a lovely price. You can pay anywhere between $10 and $20 for one stem at a florist.
Oh, look at me. I've gone off and rambled about a store. *sighs* What can I say, I love cheap, good, fresh food. Oh, and their organic chicken!
