Anyway, through idle conversation I've all but promised my friendly local record store proprietor that I'll buy the album from him when his store gets it in. Sorry Matt, you'll have to make your easy money elsewhere!

The mark up would fit in with everything else we get from America being roughly 2x the cost it should be.
Goddamn expensive country.

There's a massive markup on everything here in Australia. Knowing this, i still forgot to go to Amoeba last week when i was in LA and buy a shit load of music.
I'm going to start buying a lot more of my stuff from Amazon and from us stores because even after postage and all that jazz I've still made a saving and when it comes to these things i'm as patient as hell.
I'm hoping for new Tapes n' Tapes, Swan Lake, Wolf Parade and Destroyer.
