I was prepared to spend 14 hours on a Greyhound, but I've also been around for two years. But seriously. 14 hours on a bus SUCKS. 2 hours, not so much.
But I don't have to anymore, because Eed is amazing. Yay!
jhocking:
Two hours is a standard (long, but standard) daily commute for many people.

i am not bitching about the length of the bus ride. yes it's insignificant, yes i've done it before, no i will not die of boredom because i will be reading and listening to music. that's fine.
but like you said, you've been around for two years, i haven't even been here two months.

That is, like, the lamest thing ever. Two hours? Two hours. I'll be spending something between an hour or two (depending on if we get a direct or have to go through Cambridge or Guelph first) and I think that's nothing. I've gotten pretty used to riding busses over the years, but man, just, have a nap or take a book or bring some knitting or something.
I will be bringing pie...

okay dude, we obviously live close to each other if you're taking that bus, so we can meet up eventually even if i won't be at tronnocon.

Then if you're worried about it now and you're still around next year, just go to the 2009 con.
Liz:
In Chicago.
I will fight anyone that thinks otherwise.
