tommy is just a small british man who drinks a lot of tea and says british things like "pip pip cheerio". it's kind of cute actually. you guys should spend thursday night asking him to say north american things. like "nyquil". it's awesome.

Dear Tronnocon,

Due to circumstances that have popped up, it is pretty much financially impossible for me to attend. Two of you were generous enough to PayPal me the money needed for a bus ticket. Unfortunately, the charger for my laptop was ruined, and a replacement cost the same $80 as the bus ticket. Combine that with the fact that my mother has now decided to charge me rent, along with gas expenses for giving me a ride to and from work everyday, and the fact that I'm still paying off a little bit of credit card debt, and dudes..I'm broke as a fuck for the next month or so.

I hope you all understand. I'd love to spend a weekend with you guys, but it's just looking like it won't happen. =/

So I went to the doctor the other day, and he said that my illness shit should start clearing up in 3-5 days, 2 weeks at the latest. This means that there is a remote chance that I might be giving MaiAda a plane ticket and skipping out, if I cannot drive, and figuring out some way to wire money for my part of the hostel accommodation to someone. However, I am pretty sure that will not happen and everything will go as planned.

Tania, if I am not sick, I will make out with you. Promise?

So in other news I decided to lie down on a park bench on the way home from work and in a a freak accident a car swerved around some crossing ducklings and clipped the bench. I'm mostly OK, but the hand on the arm that I had hanging over the edge of the bench got mashed pretty bad, so I'll probably only be coming to the last day of Toronto Con and won't have any pie.
