Half of the list I recognize and like, the other half I've never even heard of but I guess I would probably like that too so I'll check it out.
I'm disappointed that the hives ended up so far down the list and with a song that really is sub-par compared to most others on the black and white album.

I am actually really disappointed in the top 10. I like 11 to 19 so much better! My three favourite songs of the year actually came 12, 13, and 14 respectively.
So hey: whose predictions were right? I was betting on Real Love to be #1 and was kind of surprised that it came so much lower.
Who was pissed that lots of awesome things didn't make it in? I scoured the list for mentions of Blonde Redhead. Nothing! Also yeah McTaggart, after all the airplay Direct Hit had I am surprised it didn't get anywhere. Only one Cops song and it wasn't even Cop Pop.
Oh well, it will still make for a rockin' playlist.

To be fair, "Knights Of Cydonia" was shit-hot this year.

Yes but it didn't actually get a lot of airplay. I think possibly Guitar Hero had a large hand in this!

Man, guitar hero definitely has a huge impact nowadays. It's actually pretty cool.
