With the ever so helpful German Polizei
The Polizei are helpful indeed. I have never once been lost in an airport in Germany because the Passkontrol officers are just like "Oh, yeah, your gate's that way."
I was actually being a little sarcastic with my comment. These two German cops were ok, though the male seemed to think he was Johhny Big Balls. The female cop was friendly and helpful though. I did have a bit of a poor experience with German cops in Koln though. The coach to take me to the airport in Dusseldorf never arrived, and of course I'm now struggling to make it to the airport in time. Had to make my way to the train station and try and figure out a train to get me somewhere *near* the airport. Anyway, I asked two cops for directions to the train station from where I was and they just ignored me and walked on. I spotted them later on having a cig around the back of a shop. Given the fact I was a little stressed at the time I was less than impressed.
How was Trier, Leonidas?
It was great fun thanks. I caught up with a friend whilst over there and also made it to Bedburg, and of course saw a little of Koln. Went round the German Christmas markets, bought myself a big steiner, had some glu wein and lots of traditional German Christmas cakes. It was all good.
Hey Leonidas! I have spotted you around recently but here seems like a good spot to say: Lovely to see you again! (I think you are extremely attractive)
And to think that I very nearly didn't put that picture up as I think it's a pretty terrible one of myself! However, I hope you appreciate that now you've said that I'll be booking my flights to Australia first thing in the moring! What state do you live in again???
And speaking of Australia, here's me on Fraser Island:
