However, I think it's silly to stay "RAPE JOKES ARE HORRIBLY WRONG, but man AIDS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" Yeah, let's all laugh at terminal illnesses! Let's laugh at the Holocaust! But fuck, rape? Not funny, dude. Not funny.
Basically, this thread should die, and people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones/let he who is without sin cast the first stone/I am pretty sure most/everybody on this board(given the sarcastic humor often found here) has made an offensive joke at one point in time. Maybe you thought it was funny, but maybe you offended someone else. Understand?

I'm not perfect. I'm aware I'm not perfect. I never said I was, and I never said I even want to be. I'm just saying that it pisses people off. When was the last time I made a joke about AIDS on here? I remember making a joke about Kurt Cobain recently, and I got called out for it. While I bitched about it to the person in the thread (and while we discussed it via PM for a while), I stopped within the next day, and I've toned down my use of that kind of humor considerably ever since, because it pissed one person off.
Just because I don't necessarily have room to talk doesn't mean I don't have the right to. I'm not the only one it pisses off/annoys/offends, and if people are going to cry on their pillow about it when I make them aware of it, well, that's their own damned problem. There's obsessive, baseless political correctness, and then there's just common fucking courtesy to the people around you.
While we're making Bible references in an effort to show off our moral e-penises, consider this one:
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under heaven
While that kind of shit is acceptable on one of the *chans, it has no place here, and I am not even close to the first person to say it.

I'm not saying "You, KimJonSick, are a jerk! You make offensive posts all the time! Don't tell other people they can't!" I'm saying, as a board, we shouldn't say "This topic is officially banned from jokes! It is offensive!" You see what I'm saying? Jokes that are offensive suck, but we are all mostly adults here. I think we can handle a little bit of cringing every now and then, right?
I wasn't meaning to directly offend anyone. And with the "bible quote," I wasn't trying to be all "morally superior." I was just saying, "Hey, we are all jerkoffs. Maybe we shouldn't be so concerned with one little not so great topic."
