It just came to me, but the arguments this article makes for heeled shoes is the same damn one that was once made for foot binding.

But, seriously, fucked heeled shoes. They serve no practice purpose, not even in video games.

The practical purpose of high heeled shoes is so that you can threaten to puncture someone's skull by stepping on them, like in Heroes.

Flats are cool for every day, but heels are dressier and dressy is good. By heels I mean sensible ones, like the middle ones with the bows that Misconception posted.
