Patrick:
I think I know all of the women in Tirana who don't wear heels. That amounts to like 5 people.

Honestly, I prefer flat shoes on the ladies. Srsly? Consider dating alone. What kind of date is it where you can't walk around? To me it seems like half the fun of going on a date or being in a relationship (this based off of my friends' experiences) is going around and seeing cool things, and seeing cool things gives you ideas for cool stuff to do.

That and there are some damn cute flats around. Simplicity is the way to go.

calenlass:
Dude tell your ladies to get more comfy shoes. The only reason I don't wear mine more often is that I don't want them to get messed up from heels sinking into the ground or whatever.

Liz:
Heels are perfectly fine for walking around as long they're not ridiculously tall. I could walk around in two inch heels all day. But I do also enjoy my flats, I have quite a few pairs. My feet have very little arch to them, so I can wear pretty much any shoe for a long period of time.

Maybe I hang around really freakin' vain people, but I sortof like having my penis perfectly intact.

tania:
i can't stand heels at all, but i think that is more to do with my mentality where i can't stand wearing any kind of clothing that doesn't allow me mobility in some way. skirts and tight pants are the same. but i'm also fairly secure about the fact that i am only like five feet tall, so man, whatever.

another possible cause of my aversion is the fact that while growing up my mother used to wear high heels all the time (she still does, but i don't live with her anymore) and every step she took was constantly accompanied by that horrid obnoxious "clak clak clak" sound of her heels hitting the floor. it was like nails were being driven into my ears. i told myself i would never ever inflict that on another human being.
