The best part about the poster is my avatar, though.

I am pretty sure that I won't be able to go to this concert. This saddens me.

Meh, it's an OK line-up. Sigur Ros are fantastic live, Death Cab is pretty good, Broken Social Scene put on a good show and a handful of others (Iron and Wine, Vampire Weekend, Gogol Bordello and The Fiery Furnaces) are all pretty fun and worth checking out. Overall I'm not all that impressed. Metallica? Kanye West? Ben Folds? Few of the big name guys are grabbing my attention.

Metallica?  LED ZEPPELIN?   :?

Boy, I wish I could get to Tennessee somehow.  Last night I was thinking about how awesome it would be if Gogol Bordello came back and played here.  There are a handful of bands I'd love to see on that poster.  Namely: Sigur Ros, Death Cab, Ben Folds, Iron & Wine, The Fiery Furnaces, !!!, Rilo Kiley, and Broken Social Scene.

Dude I'm so sorry to break this too you, but thats not Led Zeppelin. It's Lez Zeppelin. According to some asshole on the radio this morning, they are an all female Led Zeppelin.

Man, I hate festivals, they always put on all the bands I want to see at the same time which means I usually miss a bunch of the best ones. That said Tennessee gets much better line-ups than Sweden for some godforsaken reason. And that makes me sad.

I would much rather see Lez Zeppelin live than Led Zeppelin, by a very very wide margin

The way Lez Zeppelin was explained to me was this ... it's the band that lets Zep's fan base actually develop the subconscious fantasy they all have in which they fuck Jimmy Page and Robert Plant at the same time.

I assume you mean Led Zeppelin as they were back when John Bonham was alive and they actually mattered, because otherwise your statement is totally unaudacious.
That said I'm not convinced the two would sound all that different.

Bonnaroo has reached the point which Lollapalooza hit at, what, 1995, was it? We're only 2 years away from The Prodigy and The Orb headlining.

As a person who regularly reads the lineups of American and European festivals, and cries into his hands that he lives in Australia, I am really not that impressed by this festival.

You should've seen the "Monolith" "festival" they held at Red Rocks last year. No real names at all, just a bunch of acts that you see at any festival ever. The Flaming Lips, The Decemberists, Cake as a headliner. God, what a boring festival.
