MaiAda I am incredibly pleased to finally know how that is pronounced. My last guess would probably have been "My-ada", so I am glad you posted this before, you know, we were at a cocktail party or something and I had to introduce you to the king of the land or somesuch person. Man would that be embarrassing.

MaiAda I hate to say it but that sounds about as Southern as a crate of New York City steel.

i have to say i find that comment to be encouraging rather than insulting.
i spent 17 years of my life living in the carolinas and i apparently don't even have a southern accent when i try.
