I was once told that I would make a good lounge singer. Kind of a backhanded compliment.

I am quite proud of myself, I understood a good bit of that!

I thought that's what it actually is, since that's how "mai" is pronounced in italian?
or is that also an arabic word?

mooface:
"Maiada" is an Arabic name.
Since "mai" means "never" in Italian and "Ada" means happiness in Hebrew (I think?) my Italian relatives were horrified by my name at first because they thought my parents had named me "never happy".
Sooo... to answer your question, nope it's not supposed to be pronounced "my-ada" although most Italians pronounce it that way anyways.

I tend to have no emotion in my voice when recording by myself... Youl will probably have to find me on ventrilo to hear how I normally talk.

Since I am new here... a face to the voice. http://i27.tinypic.com/2nlwl00.jpg
