I thought that for a while too, but I lurked a lot before I started posting. Then I only posted maybe twenty-five posts in the first couple weeks. Kept me to less than the normal amount of foot-in-mouth moments. Remember, kids, Einstein says that keeping your mouth shut is the key to success. That and depriving yourself of sleep.

I'm going to ignore your first paragraph, because you made the point that it was just your opinion of metal rather than the all-too-common 'x genre is shit,' and because of your charming list of people you make fun of.
However - you are making so many presumptions in this paragraph, even assuming that someone is going to sneer at a supposed jam band, whatever the hell that's about - plenty of bands jam. Lurk for longer. You'll enjoy everything, eh - does that mean you'll also enjoy everything I like? Including gangsta rap, hardcore punk, pop-punk, pop, trip-hop, alt-rock, country, psychedelia, prog-rock - I could go on. What so many people perceive as the 'everything' on this board, is by far not the everything.
As for your reasons for liking the Flectkones - more talent in their little finger, eh. Then you should at least respect metal bands. Most of them boast extraordinarily (well, less so these days) talented guitarists and drummers, and many more have great vocalists too.

Indeed. The most technical drummers are metal drummers, aren't they?
Anyways, whenever someone says they like 'everything' I make them listen to a bit of speedcore, noise, drone and some free jazz (if I have any at the time). Normally the person doesn't like any of them. :lol:

Hate it when people say that. Typically it means "I like everything as long as it's really accessible and bland"
