You have no idea how glad I am that image has returned.
Anyway, public service announcement time:
Hey you.
Yeah, you.
It's time to sit down with your kids and talk.
Talk about webcest.
Sure, we all know the internet is a fun place to screw around. But don't you think the internet has enough places for people to be exhibitionist? So next time you feel stressed out, and you want to take a picture of your butt, or in a provocative pose, or maybe naked with parts of your surroundings strategically placed to hide your genitals, just think for a minute. Do you really want that sort of thing out in public? Most people you've been around on a forum for a long time have other ways of contacting you, like through instant messenger or a chat client like Gabbly where the links aren't turned into images directly and people don't have to see them if they don't want to. There are a lot of young people who come to these forums too, and it's our job to be mature and responsible adults. The photo thread should be used for documenting strange or interesting parts of your lives away from the computer, or maybe to give everyone real visual evidence that you have not been secretly killed and replaced by a burly middle-aged mafioso or a member of the living dead.
Don't commit webcest.
Instead, let's go back to discussing things that are really important, like the finer points of the 1960s-era live action Batman television series starring Adam West, or whether Sylvester Stallone's face is in fact gradually melting off. I guarantee we'll be better off in the long run.
