A sad sad day in the jazz world.

A great jazz musician has passed away today at the age of 41. Jeff Healey a well known Canadian musician had battled cancer his whole life, having caused him to go blind at the age of one. The man was a highly acclaimed musician having played with such masters as B. B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert Collins and George Harrison.

He will be sorely missed.

That's a real shame.
I had never heard of him, but WOW!
He was amazing, I'm definitely going to have to look into him now

I have a club recording of "all along the watchtower", not the greatest quality, you can hear a chatter from the microphone or something. It's available on lime wire I believe. It's just an awesome song. Set aside 20 minute to just listen to it a couple times. It was on a free cd in a magazine. It's just an epic interpretation that just oozes Jeff from all sides.

Most of the stuff I see on youtube is bluesy, wanna point me toward some jazz work of his?
