Were the two connected in this manner? Are you sure they're real horses?

Well, unless the invisible ponies learned to shit, I believe they are. They are pretty disgusting right now, abused etc. And one has...pooping issues...

A house - ouch!

Only 19 years left to pay it off  :-(

BrittanyMarie:
I am shifting the conversation back to eyeglasses: I have had a pair of Gucci and Ralph Lauren specs and gosh dang if they basically weren't the same as all my cheapie ones in comfort, durability, etc. In fact, my RL ones lost the logo on the side, so they look really really stupid right now. I do as Lunchy does, and buy ones that look nice on my face, and since my insurance covers most, I've never really needed to look at the label.

A label can act as a placebo though, (I don't think that's the right word). But you know you spent more money, or you know the label, so you automatically think they're nicer, even if they're not. I'm probably biased though, as I grew up working class.

And film to keep it going.

Other than that, when I am feeling bad about the world I go buy stare at expensive cheese.

axerton:
My shampoo and conditioner are probably the most expensive brand that can be bought from a supermarket.
Other than that I just spent $20au on poster that looks like bits of it are spinning when you look at it, and I lent another twenty to a friends boyfriend so he could get one, I'm unsure if that will be returned.

That's about it for recent decadency, as for future though: my four year old iPod appears to be going senile, and needs to be replaced. Normally I would say I could live without one, but it seems kind of a waste to just have the awesome iPod speakers i was given for Christmas just sitting there, a very expensive bedside clock.
Also a Wii and a TV are on a slightly less confident list of things I want
