Man, thats actually way cheaper than I thought. Replacing the needle on mine cost one hundred fucking fifty bucks.

Might be closer to Thirty bucks. :-/

Hm, my dad's got an RCA he got in the '80s and a new needle costs roughly the same as Manda's. I know next to nothing about turntables except how to work one (and I only learned 3 months ago, my dad's as much an audiophile as I am), but I doubt there are any needles that just let you stick the needle itself into the mount, or if they come with a built-in mount and you stick the whole unit into the tonearm (I think it's called that, but again, I know jack about the things).
If the latter is the case like I'm pretty sure it is on my dad's, you're fucked.

if you said "assault rifle" you're right

A class three? Those things go for a hell of a lot of money.
And yes, RedLion, those rifles are extremely commonly used in target rifle competitions, because they are highly accurate, due to tight manufacturing tolerances. People make 600 yard iron sight shots. Not sure what size target, an as-issued m16 would only get about 3MOA, which would mean 18 inch groups at 600 meters, even without changing winds messing it up, but they modify them before shooting them.
edit: What the hell? I could have sworn I edited out the picture url. And I addressed it to the wrong person.
Trollstormur:
well, 'assault rifle' is such a loose term these days. basically it just means "evil scary gun"
what I'm getting is a cheap AR15 semi. I'm gonna have some fun accurizing it.
but here's a local m16 conversion for only 15 grand linkie
check this thing out too
that part is about 2in by 2in. it's steel, and can be made for less than five cents by anyone with a simple machine shop, but because it's registered and civilian transferrable, it's worth more than my car. by like, seven times.
Nodaisho:
I know, isn't it wonderful? Because the best way to deal with something is to make it illegal, even if it can be easily made (I am looking at you, alcohol).
I am somewhat pedantic about terms, some people would call that an "assault rife", but without select-fire, it isn't, some would call it an "assault weapon", but I don't think it would qualify as such until I bashed someone upside the head with it. The one I see most commonly accepted by gunnies is "EBR", evil black rifle.
I really want to get a Marlin model 60, you can find them at pawn shops for maybe $50, but I don't even have that. Damn my poorness.
