Narr:
What was better about D&D mechanics for NWN1 than 2?  I was unaware of such a thing.

They took out spells that were relatively overpowered for PVP but I was pretty sure most everything else was in better shape?

KvP:
nothing. I was being sarcastic :p

As far as computer games go, the closest we've ever gotten to PnP was probably Temple of Elemental Evil. Which was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad game. But the turn-based combat was scarily authentic.

Spluff:
Actually, my mistake. I'm thinking of a different game that wasn't actually D&D.

Also, don't hate on ToEE. Patched up, it was a pretty damn fun dungeon crawl.

Not you.

Spluff.

He's the one that said NWN 1 was closer to real D&D than NWN2.  I'm confused as to how.  NWN1 = 3.0, NWN2 = 3.5, both captured both rather well.
