KvP:
The biggest complaint I hear about the CRPG conversion of D&D in those two games, beyond the trimming away of most spells without direct combat applications, is the mishandling of clerics, specifically the screwing up of domains. The NWN engines are set up in such a way that "special spell lists" are impossible to implement, so instead of a separate level-by-level spell lists, clerics with domains receive bonus spells in their existing spell lists. The result is that there are only a small number of given domains that actually make sense to take. This problem with the engine also prevents PrCs like Blackguards and Assassins from being able to cast spells, and instead they have "spell-like abilities", which nobody really likes.
Interestingly, the only game to implement clerics correctly according to 3rd ed. was Icewind Dale 2.

How could I forget Deus Ex and Half Life? Sure, they're obvious, but still. Holy goddamn.
Also, Duke Nukem. Not 3D. The original DOS sidescroller with Dr. Proton and shit. The first computer game I ever really played, probably.

True enough. I didn't take that into consideration.
Granted, clerics and druids are all sorts of ridiculously overpowered in both NWN games so I guess we can't complain too badly.

The first game that came to mind was Starcraft. When this came out I spent more hours playing it than I have ever allotted any other game.
