--- Quote from: ephemere on 31 Mar 2008, 07:12 ---i just looked up soccer slam on wikipedia cos i was curious about these character stereotypes joe mentioned.
i have heard of basically all of them except this one which had me kind of confused.
--- Quote from: wikipedia's list of soccer slam characters ---Nova, a young Native American genius who wants to win the championship so that he can aid in making soccer possible on a space station

so all native americans are... astronauts? space aliens?
on second thought maybe real native american stereotypes are actually too depressing to poke fun at.

The implication is that all Native Americans leave home to earn money at high-intelligence fields to send that money back to the reservation.

I just brought up some factoid I remember from a Women's Studies class...that wasn't entirely correct. You can thank Ruyi for the link to the incredibly in depth breast resource.
I'm not anti-bra at all though. All the girls I've ever met who claim that bras restrict women have been A-cups. I have no issue with people who have smaller boobs, just the ones that try to tell me I'm prolonging the patriarchy by wearing something that allows me to walk briskly in relative comfort.
--- Quote from: Eris on 31 Mar 2008, 15:36 ---Bra shopping is terrifying. I walk past those shops specialising in the selling of the underwears and just freak out. I don't think it helps that the ladies come up to me with a gleam in their eyes and grin while asking enthusiastically "Would you like a fitting!!!?" ... I am embarrassed to go up to the people there and say "I would like a pretty bra that fits my odd boobs nicely please!" because I have odd boobs. I just wander about and refuse any help if I actually force myself to stay in there.

The page that ruyi linked has a "boob gallery" (probably NSFW) that shows how varied different womens' breasts look. Very few people actually have odd boobs, they just think they do because of what they see in print or on TV.
Those overly helpful bra shop women aren't so bad. I accepted a fitting on a whim and learned that I've been wearing the wrong size for years.

Ohhh...now I see. I've been doing it wrong, normally I come up to the ladies with a gleam in my eyes and grin while asking enthusiastically "Would you like to fondl--er, fit me!!!?" Then they normally leave before they even grab my chest. :-(

The problem is you weren't going to the pretends-to-be-gay-but-secretly-straight male employees.
More men need to work in Lingerie, I think.
I want a job working in Lingerie.

Boobs are nice. But so is every inch of the body of a woman that you truly love. As far as pure lust goes, a B or C cup is usually nice. C is the perfect size to me. Anything much bigger than that, and it gets to be kind of unattractive, and can get in the way during sex. No disrespect to any large-chested women on here! And I haven't been "de-sensitized to it." They're soft, sensitive, and we're psychologically drawn to them, somewhat creepily, from our subconcious memories and/or instincts of feeding from mother's breasts.
