The dreaded AP Art
Saiokuo:
First off let me say that I am aware there was a previous AP art thread (I do use the search feature) but it was 2 years old and it seemed wrong to bring back a very much dead thread.
That being said are there any other QC forumites suffering through the hell of AP art as I am? Weither you're taking it now or took it before tell me about your concentration and breadth. Swapping advice is also nice.
My breadth is done (huzzah) and now I'm working on cramming in my concentration which is 'due' to my art teacher tomorrow. So far I have about 6 done and 4 in progress. I'm doing a set of 12 tarot cards in chalk pastel for my concentration -- Cliche, I know, but at least i didn't do a calendar.
By the way, q-tips rock for blending chalk pastel.
squidlywinks:
I kinda wish I was taking AP art. My art teacher has come to know me so well over the years that when I asked her if i should take it she didn't even bother to look up from her paperwork before saying a flat out "no." :(
Saiokuo:
Aww... that sucks. =/
I go to an art high school so it's required to graduate an art completer; I didn't have a choice.
Spluff:
What's an AP Art?
Emaline:
At my arts high school, we didn't have AP art. We had advanced classes, but not AP. At my normal high school, we did, and it was bullshit. I failed that class because the teacher and I fought on a regular basis.
