--- Quote from: qtownstegy on 17 Apr 2008, 08:05 ---Okay, I do need to apologize a little here, I lost track of who was typing what so my last post may run together for the both of you, that is my bad. And I will agree that PQ's choice of words were not the best.
On this forum, all caps equals yelling or sarcasm. So in capitalizing some words in your post and italicizing others, you give the impression of anger/condescending since this is a complaint thread.

I know this, I'm not new to the internet. I wrote the first post like I would speak it. It wasn't all caps, I was using caps and italics to emphasize my point. I just read everything I typed again, and I said what I meant and meant what I said. Emphasis, not entire yelling. Claim was capitalized because they said it's been 3 weeks to ship it the 700 miles it is from Massachusetts to Nova Scotia, (only a 10 hour drive).
--- Quote from: qtownstegy on 17 Apr 2008, 08:05 ---Also, you still need to talk to Jeph or Cristi. They are the only two people in the entire world who can help you, but you may need to initiate the contact since they are rather busy people. Who knows, they may even apologize if you do and they are wrong.
--- End quote ---
What good would it do if they actually have done what they claim? They said they have shipped it. I asked for a tracking number, they did not have one. If you like, I will talk to them AGAIN and can send you the transcript of the uselessness.
--- Quote from: qtownstegy on 17 Apr 2008, 08:05 --- I don't see where I'm being outlandish with my posts, the first of which was kind of general, but a common piece of advice who come to this site with questions about their merchandise. In a way, my post was a warning to your warning.
--- End quote ---
I really didn't have too much problem with your post. I even admitted that I know that you must get the kind of issues where your info was applicable. But I still think that it was not relevant to me and reading my original post should have conveyed that. It IS good advice (emphasis, not yelling), but it just wasn't for ME (emphasis, not yelling)
--- Quote from: qtownstegy on 17 Apr 2008, 08:05 ---The main thing that I remember is that arguments on he internet are pointless, so I never get mad about them. (read more lessons) But if this thread has taught me anything, it's that I'll probably receive a snarky response. Because again you come back with a information that there is no way I could have know since you did not include that in your previous post. How should I know how big your mailbox is? The fact that you had received other packages means little due to varying package sizes. Also, I have learned that the mail can always be an issue, since I have mailed bills a week in advance and still received last fees.
--- End quote ---
One of the things I bought was a 10 foot pole from California, so go figure on how a t-shirt would be a problem. I know that you couldn't ever know the size of my mailbox (without being really creepy). Some of my snarkiness was probably misdirected at you when it should have been aimed at PQ, but I just really feel like you're skimming my posts and not reading correctly.
--- Quote from: qtownstegy on 17 Apr 2008, 08:05 ---You have complained. This whole thread is a complaint. Don't try to trick us now by saying it's a warning. If it was just a warning to others, then you could still describe the situation and state your opinion without the sarcasm.
--- End quote ---
Did you see the words 'Words of Advice' at the bottom? That's usually a warning signal. Adding slight sarcasm regarding the vacation bit doesn't seem to take away from the point. I agree that arguing over the internet is pointless when you're faced with an ignorant opponent but I don't see you as one, and I still don't think we're arguing. I'm still perfectly calm.
<3?
And YAY for your shipping notification. I didn't know that you were still waiting for one of those! Eep, and I was bitching just over shipping.
Pengraffe:
I would just like to point out that if I "claim" to ship something, I have actually shipped it. Also, the "vacation" in question was me going to Tennessee so I could be with my grandmother on the one year anniversary of my grandfather's death which happened to coincide with Easter this year. Jeph was giving a talk at a college in Maryland the same weekend. Did I tell her that to begin with? No. Because it is my private life, and people don't really need those details. I know exactly who the person posting is, and I have offered her a refund several times.
By the way, does anyone want a Ladies Medium Math is Delicious in a scoopneck style shirt? Someone wanted it and then didn't want it.

Once.
After I had posted all this. The conversation where you offered me one for the FIRST time came after all my posts in this thread. I completely understand the bitterness in your post, but I do think it's important that people know that this was AFTER all the posts in the thread.
Pengraffe:
I am going to refund you. I was not ignoring you tonight, I was just not in front of my computer. Also, I offered you a refund twice today when we were talking, which was before I read this thread. I don't spend a lot of time reading the forums because I have a lot of work to do.
