Oh, this is a pokemon? I guess that makes sense, I was wondering where the character came from. There was one guy I used to play Super Smash Bros. with who was unstoppable with Jigglypuff. It was so weird, because for everyone else the general consensus was that that character sucked.

Well there's also the whole... type advantages thing... if you were going to throw something up against a Dragonite that didn't have an Ice move or something else that was super effective against Dragon, then you deserve to lose. But Victreebell could go against several Elite Four Pokemon.
Basically, it's a linear game and all of the Pokemon aren't going to be awesome against everything and some of the early obtainable Pokemon are going to be weaker. They all have their place. Except for maybe Delibird or something.
