Shirt Sizing - Merch Photos?

If I'm usually a small, should I buy medium and let it shrink? Also, I'm tall, should I buy medium anyways so that it's long enough?
If anyone has pics of ladies shirts actually in use it would be radtastical. I've never worn babydoll tees before so I'm really unsure what to get. Just a general visual of sizes would probably help me out!
