Whatever, Let's Have A Goddamn Blog Thread, But Try And Keep It Reasonable

I self identify as a nice guy. But I'd hardly consider my nice guy-ness to be that stereotyped by this thread. I just try to be nice to people and adopt a "it doesn't really matter" philosophy (I think it was actually discussed earlier in blag thread when we were bitching about working in retail). However, I can make no comments on how this affects my success with women simply because I haven't really met anyone I've been interested in recently, sure I've had fleeting interests but I find after I start to get to know someone (like after a conversation or two) I lose interest. This probably has something to do with my conceitedness embodied by my refusal to date anyone that I consider to be intellectually "inferior" (ie I'm seeking someone who can carry on an intelligent conversation about something that interests me). I do seem to attract a reasonable number of ladies though, but they all seem to be slightly on the crazy side.
My point is simply that not all guys who self identify as "nice guys" are as moronic as this thread indicates. My reply probably didn't need to be as long as it is, but the blug thread is all about showing are insecurities, right?

My cat had fleas even though I'd given her flea-killing-stuff and so we put her outside and now it is I don't know, a week later? and I checked and she does not have fleas so I gave her a bath so she could come back inside!
