What do you listen to/Play?

Hi!
I am new here, and i am eager to find out what you guys listen to, and if you play any instruments.

I myself listen to a lot of different stuff, to name a few: Deep purple, iron maiden, toto, dream theater, soad, Opeth.
The instrument i play is drums only, i would like to learn some guitar too, but ill always stick to the drums :).

Not to sound like a pedantic dick, but did you lurk much?  There's at least three threads about instruments around here (notably: The Guitar Topic and The Effect Pedals Thread, as well as others), and innumerable threads about the music we like.

I'm not tryin' to tell you you're wrong, there's nothing wrong with curiosity.  We just get tired of people posting the same kinds of threads all the time.

I listen to allsorts of shit. Check the other threads. Out of spite to other forumites I'm going to list Eminem, Ashlee Simpson and blink-182 as top of my list.

As for what I play, I play lap steel (badly), mandolin, guitar, bass, drums, piano/organ and some other percussion to a minor extent. Oh, and I sing.

I listen to a lot of ska and punk rock, as in Less Than Jake and NOFX. Also rock as in Led Zeppelin, alternative. My favorite bands are Less Than Jake, NOFX, The White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, and The Police.
I play violin, usually a modified (electrified) Scott Cao. I'm a 6 year veteran there. I also play guitar on my Danelectro Hodad through a Marshall.

Sometimes I hear a muffled yelling and thumping from the basement, but only for a little while.

I also occasionally listen to the sounds of a joke taken one post too far.

I listen to Sloan. Sometimes I won't listen to Sloan; this is usually when I am sleeping. I can play some Sloan too.

I listen to the sound of wind in the trees, the critters in the bush, the baying of the coyotes at night, and play the jaw harp.  Sometimes the harmonica.  Occasionally I play the spoons, but mostly I play a mean jaw harp like you ain't never seen.
