thanks, mr. doctorow, now i'm even more scared of governments! (Little Brother!)
jill the ripper:
No Little Brother topic? Dastardly!
What's it about? Well, terrorists, and the government becoming terrorists and using terrorism tactics to fight a totalitarian government.
You've read that already, you say? Well, you have. But not like this.
Cory Doctorow (Co-Editor of Boing Boing, and a million other things. He's like a super-blogger.) has written Harry Potter for geeks.
You can't say it isn't cool, even if you didn't like it. They can hack tubes of toilet paper to find cameras, and teach you how.
That's not all, folks! It also includes an extremely responsible sex scene. In a young adult book. Worth reading, just for that.
Where I live, it was a freaking sensation. Everyone I know that can use the alt key has already read it.
Have you, though? If you have, what did you think about it?
Personally, while some parts were dragging and petty, I loved it. The strengths made up for the weaknesses.
KickThatBathProf:
Eh...
Nahhhhhhh
Cartilage Head:
I first read the title as "Doctor Cory" , then I reread and was all "Oh.."

you can't say it isn't cool, even if you didn't like it.
but that's my question. did you like it? the book, i mean, if you're confused.
cory doctorow, world famous bloggerperson, wrote a book.
a nerd book.
go read it.

my first thought is that this task would be simpiler if you gave us the name of the book, secondly are we meant to have heard fo this "world famous" bloggerer
CamusCanDo:
Good thing for you that I know what you're talking about. For other people they're probably not going to know so it's probably a good idea to give a little on the premise of the book and the author.
