Man, when I was a little kid, I was allergic to so many different kinds of food. Dairy, gluten, wheat, a certain kind of protein found in meat... for the first year or so of my life I lived on an IV (fun fact: a few years ago, a doctor told me that if I had been born just 4 years earlier, I would have died.) Eventually I outgrew all of those things. But for a year, between the time when I could only live on an IV, and when I was able to start eating soy, wheat and gluten, olives were one of the few things I could eat. Every time my family went to a restaurant, I would just get...a bowl of olives.
I guess what I'm saying is, I fucking love olives. Especially green ones.
