I found some old photos.
In 1981 I was selling my software to Japan. I went over to Tokyo and Kyoto for three weeks to train my distributors.
This is from the beginning of the first evening session, when they solemnly try, and fail, to drink any European visitor under the table.
In 1989 I was off work, recovering from cancer. As I had to do something, I climbed up Mount Kenya (Point Lenana, 16,355 ft).
This is about halfway up (or down, from the look of the beard).
Punting - the only way to get around in a good summer (remember them?); so long as you've a river handy.
