I hung out with Yelley, Jason, and Patrick today. Yelley has more pictures, including some with me (and the hat she gave me) and some with her in them.
Hey, they wear shoes in California, too! I saw a cricket match yesterday and figured California was really some strange foreign land. Clockwise from top, Jason, Yelley, me, and Patrick.
This was at the record store we went to. It's an AMG review. "More known for its frequent name-checks than its actual music, Spiderland remains one of the most essential and chilling releases in the mumbling post-rock arena."
That first bit. Dski, AMG know about you!
This guy's job was quite literally to sit outside the hat shop wearing a shark hat. If so wanted, he could read, like, a book (hurr, Jason). Patrick and Jason both bought hats, and Patrick and I convinced a girl to buy a leather aviator's hat. She looked amazingly cute in it.
I told you they bought hats.
We stopped at a music store as well. That Les Paul (is it maybe a Classic?) is pretty gorgeous, but Patrick and I had such boners over the mid-'60s Epiphone Coronet. If only we'd had $2,000.
omg a Yelley.
Do not eat the graffiti! WE'RE SERIOUS.
