Oh, man. The only game of the last 5 years to have all the voice-acting supplied entirely by the studio itself. And something about their renderer made me feel like all the NPC's and enemies were actually 2D sprites. They had a decent crafting/weapon/magic system, the rest of the game was basically a turd sandwiched between two DVD-ROM's. Basically no character customization, and important story cutscenes were FMV's, so unless you picked the same physical attributes as the character in the video, any sense of immersion you might have had in the first 5 minutes was completely destroyed. Also, monsters and NPC's don't respawn. Plus, before the patches, you could break the main quest by doing things out of order.
It was game that went out with basically no QA.
Anyway, I've been following their sequel closely. They overhauled the entire engine...I'm pretty sure it'll still be pretty bad, but not the utter shite of the first one.
