^^ Evil Southsider!  I can't believe you guys swept my Cubbies at that stadium.  I'm actually from Payless Park area, which is on the southside...

Eli:
I live in Elbert, Colorado. The town's claim to fame is a flood that destroyed the town in 1935. When I moved here, everyone I met told me about it. The population is around 350. My graduating class had 20 students.

Besides the school, we have a saloon that has customers even at 8 in the morning, a minimart that closes at 8 at night, two very small antique stores, and a US post office.

This is one of the first buildings that's not a house that you see. I think it's now used as a garage.

To be honest, I'm not sure what this building was for.

This is the view from my mailbox.

muahhahahaha!!! A north-sider! When the Cubs finally find the balls to come to our town you have to expect a horrific loss!  :evil: :evil: :evil:

Where's Payless Park, by the way?

@Eli
That's pretty much the best mailbox view one could hope for

I'm from Madison, WI. I really like it here. It's a good size- the city itself is about 250,000 and the greater area is probably about 500,000. It's close to plenty of cool places like Chicago, Milwaukee, and the twin cities. We've got the UW campus here so there's always stuff going on, and downtown Madison is amazing. The city is situated on the Isthmus between two big lakes, with the capitol right in the middle of it.

Here's a shot of the isthmus from the air:

Here's the skyline of the isthmus from Lake Monona:

We have the tallest state capitol in the nation, it's only like a foot shorter than the national one:
