Exactly. We don't want to seem like we're better than the guys in DC. Also, Madison has an interesting law that stipulates that none of the buildings within one mile of the Capitol can be taller than the top of the columns supporting the capitol dome. It makes the Capitol building itself really stand out, which i think is cooler than if the capitol building was dwarfed by a bunch of ugly skyscrapers.

I think you're right about the capitol building, I'm not sure about that law though. My old school (it was a really old Catholic school with a chapel) was literally right across the street from the John Hancock Tower (big building), and by 1885 the Chicago Board of Trade was the tallest building in the city (surpassing First Holy Name Cathedral).
That's an interesting law though.

If I remember correctly ( I haven't been ther in like 18 years) its between Joilet and Chicago Heights, aka SouthSide.
