Bo Burnham
« on: 02 Aug 2008, 16:51 »

Okay, I am NEVER going to stop finding geeky white guys rapping funny. Hell, I even do it myself (bitches) as the rap-contest people from this forum will tell you.

But this guy is something else. Geeky white rappers are only funny if they can actually rhyme, and this guy is pretty sharp, as well as clearly being smart outside of that.

This is just a comic song rather than rapping, but it's still funny as fuck.

edit: I've put in the correct links now, seeing as I'm an absolute tosser. Well, actually, my computer is shit because the copy function seems to be totally fucked lately.

I like this dude! He is pretty funny. Maybe if he improves he can be more than... Internet Star or whatever when he's older.

I subscribe to his YouTube channel, and every time he puts up a new video I cheer wildly. I think he is hilarious.

I've edited the post so that it doesn't have the completely wrong link (although one I love all the same).

I've seen a little bit of his stuff.
"New Math" is really funny...

If you wanna check out a hilarious rapping white guy, check out Jon LaJoie. His stuff is absolutely spectacular. He also does comedy that isn't musical, too! Oooh, range.

Both of them are really funny, but I like Jon LaJoie better I think, at least the song "Everyday Normal Guy" made me lol like a little girl. Bo seems kind of hit or miss.

I really like him, but sometimes, especially his early stuff, he just seems to be channeling Stephen Lynch...which isn't such a bad thing.

I think now that he's started rapped, he's become funnier than ever. It just brings the irony quoitent up a few levels.
