The collar and the sleeves show. Its a good way to have an extra layer when its not quite cold enough for a sweater, but its too cold for just a tshirt.
I'm talking long sleeved button-up, like a dress shirt. But not as dressy.

I googled for a picture, but I couldn't find one.

Here's what I wear at work:

Its already been tailored to my measurements. Same with my pants. I was trying to take it before it got to the ground floor. And I was on the third floor. Its really very well fitting.

Honestly, if you're going to wear a shirt with a tee, wear the shirt on the outside. Wearing it on the inside is just silly.

I've been occasionally putting a tshirt over a buttonup and then tucking the buttonup half into my pants so it doesn't look like I have a little buttonup skirt thing coming out, is this an okay practice?
The tshirt hides the fact that I've got a buttonup tucked in.

I do this occasionally. I think I did it when I was in New York in August, because I hadn't brought a change of clothes with me. So I reversed the previous day's wearings.

(also it was rad walking around New York City with a shirt yelling "RED SOX" on the outside, the day after they beat the Yankees)

Man that is like the kids in high school who wore long sleeve shirts under t's grew up, got a job at the IT department of some local business, and were too lazy to change all the way before their L.A.N party after work.

I highly recommend not rocking that look dude. It is not a good look.

 (sassy clothes person): I for one think t-shirts over longsleeves looks good on menfolk and womenfolk.
:police: (fashion police person): FUCK YOU NU-UH
*clubs *

I don't do it often because I do not own a lot of longsleeves anymore. But especially on slimly-built dudes and dudettes it is a most rockin' attire.

Yeah, honestly Jace I do not like that look at all. Reverse it (shirt on top, T-shirt underneath) button it, and roll the sleeves up and you'll have "casual, sexy, semi-rugged man look"

Evernew- I like it a lot! I've generally been afraid to go shorter than the shag I posted in the Hair thread recently but it really works on you. The shorter cut frames your face in a way that the curly hair could never.

I wore a really nice dress to a party last night and I had to put a top under it because it was way too low cut, and somehow the top turned the dress from something elegant (a black dress with pink flowers on it) to something an eight year old would wear.

I've mostly got over it because the alternative is to whinge about it all the time and heaven knows I complain enough already, but I wish that sometimes I could look my age and not a full decade younger.

Those hats look rather nice actually, kind of 1920's "flapper" style. I must admit it isn't all that expensive, I have paid more for a decent hat and jacket before now, and they are very pretty. My friend tends to make dresses like that and I will be the first to admit how awesome they can be.

To make this clear, yes I am a guy, but I don't have to dress up to see awesome clothing and want to comment.

Yeah, well, I want that too, but this thread is about fashion.

I must admit it isn't all that expensive

While that hat isn't that expensive, both of those dresses knock out just about all of my paycheck.

i like michael j krell, he makes some nice basics.

Honestly nothing there really stood out at me, especially at the prices offered. Most of the basics of that you could get at the GAP for half of that price.

look, cicero. here is how i see it.

you know liz, so you probably know that the people on these forums are really cool. they are my friends, and not just on the internet, i've met a lot of them in real life. so let's think of these forums as a party where me and all my friends are talking and having fun. liz says, 'hey i know this guy and he is okay, i'll invite him too' and then you show up and are a complete tool. we are all hanging out and having fun and talking and you are all like 'HAY GUISE, LOOK AT ME I CAN MAKE DICKISH COMMENTS LOLOLOLOL CAN I BE IN YOUR CLIQUE NOW?' and we are all like 'umm.... that guy is kind of annoying and i think the party would be more fun if he shut up a little bit or made an attempt to get to know us before jumping in and being a dick to everyone' and liz is like 'oh man guys, i swear he is cool outside of this party i have no idea what is going on and i am so sorry.'

yeah, that's what it is like. it's not that i take the internet seriously, it is more like this is a place where i come to talk to my friends and you are being a jerk.

Hey guys, thanks for the advice on my fashion threads. (hahaha, see what I did thar)

Next question about long sleeve shirts under short sleeve, I have just a plain longsleeved gray shirt that I hate wearing on top because then you can't see the obviously awesome tshirt I am wearing underneath. Should I just avoid wearing this shirt because it doesn't look good to have long sleeved under short?

Oh, and as for shitting up the Fashion thread, what are people's opinions on pants/shirts that are brown?
