Dudes, what is so bad about wearing black. Jimmy said here (since we're all hanging out and stuff) that not only does wearing all black make you look slimmer, but it also makes accesorizing a lot easier, because black goes with everything and I totally agree. Also wearing all black can be rather classy. Or a mostly black outfit with one amazingly bright accessory, like shoes for instance, looks pretty awesome, too.

Besides, everyone, EVERYONE, looks good in black.

Nobody ever said wearing black is wrong, just that it can be done wrong. It's possible for something to flatter your figure while still making you look like an idiot, after all.

Wearing all black is great from time to time. When over done, it's like the trashiest thing ever.

I wear all black to work quite often! It's easy, it looks professional and I don't have to stress out all day if I got ink on my white shirt. I usually wear my nice red heels with the outfit too. I think it works really well. I guess I suit black!

As a general rule, fair skin with all black works better than golden skin. Also, a dash of color (a scarf perhaps) with an all black outfit will do wonders.

It's true. I have some rather bright heels that I love to wear, but they match little to nothing I own, except the black pieces.

All black can be very elegant! I love this Audrey Hepburn outfit.

Sometimes I like to put on my nice black pants, cuff the bottoms so they're at or slightly above my ankle with a black high-necked long sleeve top and black flats. Which is... basically what she's got there. If you put on something as an accessory--like say a red belt in this outfit--it could end up looking kind of cheesy and lazy. And it's a classic, even by Audrey Hepburn's standards; her only more famous outfit is the black Givenchy she wears in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Ok so she is awesome and can pull off what others can't, but I'm sticking to what I said about all black, so long as you have the right cuts. Baggy black pants and baggy black shirt is ugly and terrible, but like. Something like this:

With something like this

only maybe an inch or two longer (like this)
with really plain black shoes like

I think that can look amazing! Even if you're not Audrey Hepburn.

Only, you know, all the same color.

Yeah, I'm actually not really digging the shorts. I thought they looked cute with the stockings, but even though its summer there that is a bit too little fabric.
I think it actually manages to make your stick thighs look almost chunky because it doesn't hit in a good spot on the leg:(

Don't really know about sweetness, but there is far more chocolate. Instead of just boring ol' wafer in the middle you've got something like a bit of flake jammed in there too:

Probably sweeter.

Dear Jordan, there are no Time Outs in that stand.  there were like a year ago when i took it from work and bought a whole bunch of Time Outs.  Currently there are more kinder surprises than anything else.

Dear Julia, I have to have 12mm jewelery because my sweet spot was so high up that you literally could not even see the 8mm.  Like, it did not come out from my nose AT ALL.  I am too scared to get new jewelery and take this one out in case I can't find the piercing again because my piercer had so much trouble doing it originally. Also it needs to be a horseshoe so I can flip it up for work.

Also guys, those are the same pair of shorts I wear with almost everything, in that photo they have ridden up a bit and are at a bit of a weird angle.  Everyone liked them when I posted them in this thread a while ago when I bought them :P  Also, it is hot here!

In other news, I just inherited 3 vintage itallian suits. One taupe, double breasted, one tan, one charcoal with a slight plaid, both two button.  Some other rad shit too, but pics of those when I get home

Look at my things, guys! Look at them! I think the tan is my favorite but damn they are all so damn good.

You don't like the suit with the beard, or just the beard.

I really like the first one, but would want to wear it with a different shirt I think. Also, what is the deal with leaving the bottom button undone on suits. Is that a requirement, or just something I am meant to do.

get smaller septum jewelry

There was a site linked in the tattoo thread that I was looking through and there were two types of septum jewellery that made me thing would be good for Jodie's situation. These and these would be good (I think the first ones would look better) because they are long but narrow. The only problem would be that they would be hard to flip up for work. But the second ones are septum retainers, so they would be supposed to be flipped up, I guess?

The only reason I can think of is that you can sit down without having to completely unbutton your jacket. I don't know if that makes sense because as far as I know you are supposed to completely unbutton your jacket when you sit down. Is "unbutton" even a word or did I just make it up?

Also, I like your suits, especially with the beard.

Mr Animal Ghosts I know this is going to sound stupid, but I feel like the glasses are too big and along with the beard and it kind of covers up your face.  Basically what I am telling you is you are too good looking for your fashion and are doing a disservice to the world by hiding your face from it.

Most suits are designed to have an extraneous bottom button, it's a holdover from the old days, what it means is that if you button the bottom it pulls the suit in to a funny shape and it doesn't look as good.

But seriously, done poorly, it looks childish. What is the purpose of so much black? Like, I dunno if you know, color is so rad.
Well, because I don't like bright colors on me, I don't think they would really work all that well when I'm trying to look presentable, and black is just plain classy. I think I'll ditch the tie idea, not sure why I even wanted one in the first place, I guess I just figured it had to be part of it.

So far, I've just got a burgundy shirt (I like that word, burgundy. burgundyburgundy) and black slacks, which look pretty damn nice together. You're supposed to blouse the shirt, right? Not just tuck it in as far as it could go? I like it better bloused. They would be good meeting a girlfriend's parents clothes, just keep a leather jacket in the car or something and the outfit changes completely. Also would do decently for a job interview or something. I still think a black vest would look nice over it, but I think with that, a coat would only be in case of cold weather. If I needed something extremely formal, I could probably find a black suit jacket and a tie and look like a valuable and respectable member of society, until I opened my mouth.

I like the suits, except for the first one. I think it would be fine, but the beard doesn't go well with it. You pull off the tan one best, the last picture of a suit is questionable, but you hold yourself well enough that I didn't notice at first. A lot of the time, it really is about confidence. And man, is that where you live? Looks like shots from a fashion magazine.

Han I quite like the first ones but they would be hard to flip up, which is a very important thing for me seeing as I am at work 5 days a week.  I don't like retainers, I think they are incredibly ugly.  Also I have a paranoia of losing the jewelery, especially at night because I tend to wake up with them twisted right around.  I like the ball jewelery because it doesn't just slip through.

Yeah Jodie, there are those horn ones and some coconut ones that when I saw I thought would suit you, but then the flipping them up bit came to mind. There are some other pinchers on that site which would look cool in a septum, though. Ones with a dint in the middle to help keep it in place, which is an interesting idea.

I meant the two things I said separately.  The first suit looks a bit bulky compared the the other two, which fit you a lot better in my opinion.  The beard I don't really like 'cos if I were you I wouldn't be hiding my face (and also I guess I am kind of biased against them because my face gets too hot when I let mine grow so I subconsciously think "augh, why would you want an overheating face all the time augh")

Yeah, I agree, actually. I always said that beards basically exist for the purpose of hiding the flaws in your face, specifically flawed bone structure. Like, if I didn't have a chin, or had terrible cheekbones, there would be a lot more reason for me to have it. At this point, I basically just have it so that girls will continue to come up to me and stroke my face, but I'd rather one specific girl stroke my d instead.

Plus, I feel like the having people stroke my face thing is really more of a "awww, how cute" thing than an actual attraction thing. Might be about time to let it go, it's been three months.
