I noticed a trend starting with the Garfield Minus Garfield comics and I wanted to see if it would apply to QC. First I removed Pintsize's word boxes, then I removed Pintsize entirely. The first comic I used was #71. In Jeph's version, Pintsize is annoying, but in my original version, Faye is a bitch. My second version makes Faye out to be some kind of witch.

I tried it again with #1103 and now Winslow is depressed.

In removing Pintsize from that strip, I determined that Jeph's shadows aren't very well made. It was hard to tell where Pintsize ended and Roomba began.

Personally, I like the first one minus the dialogue but with the Pintsize. It's so random, Chef Brian would have to agree as he rides his carrot into a sunset of flamingo and halibut flavoured Jello.

I think the idea is to edit out only Pintsize and his input, not the entire strip

That one is a bit too strange. I guess you could see it as Hanners talking to herself, but it still doesn't feel right, somehow.

Looking at that one, I get the impression that everyone sees a spooky ghost but me.

And in addition to leaving shadows, you also forgot to create a doorknob. You could have just copy/pasted the doorknob from pannel 1. Good effort though.

Here's a tip: I save everything as a .jpg so the added bluryness covers some of my flaws.

Meh. The "LOL HE'S TALKING TO NOTHING LOLOLOL" got old real fast in Garfield Minus Garfield, and it's no better here.

In keeping with the Indiana Jones theme, when I was shopping the other picture, I had this image of Pintsize with a snake charmer's flute trying to escape the rogue length of rope he had charmed. In its struggle against Pintsize, it obviously falls to its untimely demise.

Some of these are really funny, others are just weird and really don't work as well. But I like the concept.

Also, #115 and #119 are weird but also funny, so it's definitely possible to be both.
