This is probably the most hilariously self-affirming statement I've ever read.

I watched the video after the comic came out (but didn't comment). It's a novelty song that people took to be a serious song, because a big country star recorded it. As a novelty song it's actually not bad. And I thought the video was pretty funny too. But the most hilarious thing is that people took the song seriously. That is great.
