The new Here We Go Magic. This is probably one of the best things I have heard all year. What a HUGE departure from the EP. Captures their manic live energy perfectly. Modern day krautrock masterpiece.

"Takin You Back" - Sepalcure

I do want to like the so-called "lovestep" offshoot of dupstep, but sometimes I worry that dubsteppy music that isn't crazy wobble-heavy gets too sleepy. Come on man, this is supposed to be somehow more "soulful" that typical dubstep, not somnolent.

Although Von D's "Show Me" is supposedly lovestep, and that shit is super good.

a mate just sent me this... sounds like waking the fallen era a7x, which i always enjoyed. and this is remarkably live sounding - i'd expect someone as high-profile as slash to end up with his solo album being hideously overproduced, but this is actually pretty fucking impressive.

self-titled album by The Future Now. just recieved a promo of this, rather unexpectedly too. not bad stuff, kinda grunge-influenced rock with sunny vocal harmonies. the vocalist's a bit of a cobain-alike, but overall this is pretty cool!

i'm listening to the new menzingers album "chamberlain waits" on their myspace. i loved their first album, and the EP last year was alright... this seems a little mellower than before, but still really really good. totally buying it asap.

Ooh, I didn't even know they were releasing something new! I loved their most recent EP. Now I'm psyched for this. Hopefully my record store will have this to buy by this Saturday when there's a sale for Record Store Day.
