Vote, VOTE, VOOOOOOOTE!!!!

JD:
Dole isn't in the senate anymore! Wooo! (Elizabeth Dole, not Bob Dole)

David_Dovey:
Yeah I was glad when I saw that, although I'm really not a big fan of the way Hagan recoiled at the sheer horror of being labeled an atheist.

--- Quote from: Lame W. Duck ---"Go enjoy yourself"

I just assumed "enjoy" was his repressed evangelical way of saying "fuck" without cussin'

Storm Rider:
For the record, it looks like Stevens may not have won after all. There's still about 25,000 ballouts left to count but Begich has pulled ahead and most of the ballots left to count are coming from Anchorage, where he was mayor prior to running for Senate.

And Minnesota is so close that who knows how the fuck that will turn out after the recount starts on Monday.

Mostly, I'm pissed at Indiana. It was the only state I got wrong on my prediction, unless you count the one electoral vote in Nebraska that might also go to Obama. And Prop 8, of course, but that'll get repealed. If not in 2012, before too much longer.

KvP:
I think I misread Florida, on account of all the old people (I figured they'd flock together, but I guess in retrospect short of an AARP endorsement age isn't a terribly huge factor) but otherwise I was pretty damn close.

Storm Rider:
Even if you consider old people to be a solid voting bloc, why would you automatically consider them to be Republican? I mean, who would you expect AARP to back considering the candidates' positions on medicare and Social Security?
