Vote, VOTE, VOOOOOOOTE!!!!
Dazed:
Also, pay attention to your local elections/propositions. Obviously there's been a bunch of hooplah about prop 8 on this site, and in my home state of MA we have a few big issues on the ticket. SO, don't be stupid, it's not too late to at least do some research and get your opinions figured out. Just do it quick.
Don't fuck this up, people.

I only voted for the President, the Green Party candidate for the state house, and a dumb referendum. The Democrats always win in the local offices anyway, and most of them were running unopposed, so I wouldn't vote for them even if I liked them. Although afterwards my fiancee told me that our Attorney General is a Republican, oops. But anyway, I'd rather people just voted in the elections they know about than just pull the Democrat or Republican lever or pretend that they know what they're voting for, as far as local elections go. And I personally think the President will have more of an impact on my life than a circuit court judge. (Hi, three new Judges in the SC!)
I've never gotten a sticker! Sucks. After voting we went and did calling to make sure people know where their voting place is. I'm going to do a bit more later, it will keep me away from this forum and CNN.

This is America! People are fat and lazy, Jens, you should know that by now.

I -just voted-. Almost straight democratic, but I did vote Republican for a local office (simply because she was the only name on the ballot I recognized). I didn't vote for anyone who was unopposed (simply because I didn't really have a name to write in...), and then I voted on the referendum for the city about Health Care.
I kind of wish we had a bigger battle going on this year. Jeez.

Right, I voted at like 10am this morning then went straight to class. You can officially call me a tax and spend liberal if you want, because I pretty much for for all of the questions that overall came up to around 200 million in spending for Maryland or something...\
Obama/Biden 2008
Also voted NO on Question #2 against Maryland slot machine licenses, that supposedly would go towards funding education. Who would all grow up to be gambling addicts?
