Your secret geeky desire
actreal:
Mine is currently one of these:

Now if only I could justify the price for a custom-made one plus postage and handling from Norway.
Ladybug:
Haha, I can't stop laughing. I seriously think the guy who made that one is my neighbour back home. He's always working on some Star Wars costumes (and apparently others as well) in his back yard, and the first picture is taken downtown in my hometown. On New Years eve last year, he was walking around in a Darth Vader costume outside, and this is him and his kid, I think.
Awesome.
As for geeky desires, I have a whole goddamn folder of them, but I haven't imported it after a reinstall of OS X. Might get back to the thread.
ETA: Most definitely him. Our house and boat are in one of the photos on page 40 :p
MadassAlex:
Most everything I do has some degree of geekery to it. I could be gettin' blown by three godesses and see, already, how I related this to myth and fantasy?
Trollstormur:
The romanian PSL Dragunov clone. Not exactly like a Dragunov, but very similar. I've seen them in a magazine for $700 and I really think I want one.
Nodaisho:
I thought that was a Zastava M76 at first, Troll. I wish EAA would start importing them. I hear the PSLs are nice, though.
I have a lot of them, but I think the biggest one, though the geekiness could be argued, is to get a bunch of land up in the mountains, someplace where it rains and fogs a lot, and have a big house built, gothic architecture mixed with not being horribly drafty like buildings old enough to be original gothic architecture would be. Also would have enough room for a rifle range at least 1000 meters long (not inside, on the property). Making it more geeky, I would store up supplies for the zombie apocalypse. Everyone has a hobby. And yeah, burt gummer is kind of my idol.
