Star Trek transporters scared the shit out of me since I was little. No continuity of consciousness, as demonstrated by numerous accidents they've had with the damn things on like every series. Same thing with cloning experiments a la Sixth Day, or going back in time to fix your past (cause you're really fixing someone else's past at that point)
I just want to be an astronaut! A dream currently shattered when I got type 1 diabetes at 14. I still plan on doing it, if I have to get rich and pay my way I will. Oh, and I want to build the worlds fastest piston driven, single engine sea plane. A record currently held by the Macchi M.C. 72 set in 1939 at 709km/h.
