Hmm. I went two years ago in July and spent most of it in Anchorage, Denali national park, Glacier Gap Lake, and in Valdez, including the bay and surrounding glaciers. It was over 70 degrees every day. Whatever.

Only 3 people who actually are from Alaska have posted in this thread.  Just a little depressing.

On the other hand, that means that Alaska has the highest per capita response rate to this thread of any state!

On every forum I've ever visited, theres always an Alaska thread.  Why do Alaskians feel the need to have their own thread?  I never see a California thread, or a New York thread.  Maybe its because they think they're special.

Ballard:
There's a thread for every meet-up. There hasn't been a New York meet-up in a while. Californians are always talking about their state- just look around.
