I bought a pack of cigarettes in the old year. It is still unopened. I'm pondering making it my symbol for the new year's resolution to do less harmful shit to myself.

I am guessing by "charming ass" you mean the guy who picks on everybody to be funny and by "dick ass" the guy who is sincere in his dickery, yes?
