Haven't heard this yet, but I love Post-War.  I'm really excited.

Dude there is a mediaf!re thread though.

Usually I post in there but M. Ward is a favorite of mine so I thought his own thread would be nice.

Uh...

So what is this?

Great americana songwriter. his indie cred includes working with zooey dewhatshername in She and Him, Jenny Lewis, Bright Eyes, My Morning Jacket, Cat Power and most importantly Beth Orton. this album is ace but most of his solo albums are also.

I had a listen... it was alright. Unfortunately I like the cover art a whole lot more than the actual music.

We figured this out a while ago. But the ! is in the word filter; we'd have to get est to change the word filter and it'd be completely covered.

It's pretty good.  Though I didn't find it quite as entertaining as Post-War.

So, I've managed listened to it twice and it just doesn't feel all that great to me. It's a good record but I'm just not enjoying it all.

I'M NOT ENJOYING YOUR MOTHER AT ALL.

i find this album intoxicating. post-war is better but i like to think of this one as more optimistic.
