How hot are your friends? This is important to my answer.

Scarychips:
Why would I ignore you? I never ignore cute girls. or boys.

Allybee:
besides the fact that my entire school already probably thinks I'm into chicks (I'm not) I do not want a prom date who will upstage me. mai's out. unless she is willing to get breast reduction surgery.

ruyi, casey, that goes for both of you as well. wait casey aren't you married? wouldn't your husband sort of mind jeez

my friends are good looking.

scarychips I should hope you would never ignore me, I'm three years older than you are.

est:
Ally, I could take you to prom.

pros: older, relatively tall (6'1"), scrub up ok, have a suit, know how to dance, Australian accent offers foreign mystique and air of dangerous swarthiness due to current run of Australia! at box office, can afford all that prom ticket and dinner crap you were talking about.

cons: probably too old to be in the "impressive" age range (ie: early 30s as opposed to early 20s), small yet ferocious girlfriend who would definitely kill the both of us violently should our dancefloor gyrations look too authentic sets limit on amount of jealousy induced in fellow prom-goers, tend to get sweaty at clubs so dancing in a suit would probably suck, easily bored and/or annoyed by general teenage yammering, manly stubble comes with unfortunate side-effect of causing any potential makeouts to be scratchy, resulting in pash-rash (also, see above girlfriend issue).

On revision of my application I guess I am not an ideal candidate.  Pity.
