LOOK OUT, NORWAY!

Scandanavian War Machine:
haha no worries. i fully support booze-free partying; it's actually my favorite kind of partying (i am not much of a drinker).

that said, tonight i am probably going to drink some whiskey and play Fable 2 in honor of our shiny new president.

Nodaisho:
I'm going to a party because my friends will be there. Otherwise, I wouldn't do anything special.

Patrick:
(possibly not the correct board, since it is politically charged? I don't personally care, just an observation)

I was really happy with the address he gave. None of that "pull this out and shove it in a textbook" quotable shit until the Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery came on with his benediction bit, and his was funny, if slightly hard to understand because of slurring consonants.

My favorite part of the procession toward the White House was when the younger of his daughters (Sasha, I think?) ran up the walkway to the door, completely over the moon with excitement. I thought that was the cutest thing ever, to see a little kid so happy and excited. Really heartwarming.

I also liked the shot of Bush applauding after Obama's address was finished. His clearly defeated-looking face was priceless. As Shane put it, "Perma-scowl".

JD:
On monday i want to a pre-inauguration party. There was a stand of obama and everything, it was pretty cool.

Did anyone actually go out into Washington to see it?
